I pay 38.00 per mth! Best 38$ per mth ever! lol Keeps my kids in and my neighbors kids out! lol I went through Rental Fence Company. S&S had way too long of a wait list!
Rental Fence company does both, however, THEY DO NOT RENT wooden ones, no one does, you have to purchase it. The quote they gave me was 1885.00! That was for total install and labor to dig etc. We require some serious equipment to dig our yard, it is solid rock! Thats why we said no way. We leave next year and it was just not worth it to us. If we have been going to stay here for 4-5 yrs sure it would have been. BUt we got chainlink
U can put up your own fence even a chicken wire one if u want u just have to get ur digging permit. And s&s sucks. We paid way to much for them and we had orders to.move and they first told us they'd honor it and wouldn't charge to take it down for not fulfilling the 18mo thing but lied.
Try rent a fence. They might be cheaper I know s n s charges like $29 for the first few feet or something and then its like $4 a foot for every extra foot u want to.go
We bought our wire welded fence and posts for a total of $205...it was more than worth it. Our yard was 56 ft out from house and 70 feet long, Big so it would be cheaper if you went for a smaller area.
For S&S Rent it Fence you pay just under $30 a month for 100 feet of fencing, if you have more you pay more. They are nice people and make a killing off of Fort Lewis! LOL
Exactly. Our last house we built our own privacy fence and here on post we just picked up a free fence and put that up and will pass it along when we move.
we used S&S they were good while we had them but then when we got orders they made us pay to remove even though they told us orders would get us out of the removal fee
I'm glad I caught this posting...Hubby and I are on the list for Greenwood housing which has no fences. We were going to look into renting one and now we know who to look into for it!! Thanks ladies :)
You know it depends, building your own can get expensive fast. Rent it fence is way cheaper at first but then of course you end up paying more over time. If you can afford to put out the chunk of change for a fence and do it yourself that is a good way to go. We wanted the chain link and wanted it to look nice when we rented. I didn't want that green chicken wire stuff, I hate the way it looks!
If you put up a wooden fence you don't have to take it down when you leave! If you put up your own fence you just have to go to your housing office and get it approved. It is really easy and everyone gets approved, the only thing is that someone comes out and makes sure that your not fencing over and gas or water lines or anything, so sometimes people have to have a slight angle or something.
