I used to live in New Hillside, PCS'd to Ft. Bragg July 2011. I am a mom of two girls ages 2 and 7. My husband and I are great friends. My days are filled with crazy kid chaos, but always there is love. I am an Oregonian so the Washington weather is fine by me lol.

I used yo live in new hillside, a 4 bedroom. It had carpet in all main living areas except kitchen and bathrooms.

I just moved from Ft Lewis to Ft Bragg in July. The drive was loooong lol. Especially with a 2 and 6 year old. I hope you like it there, we sure did :)

I love Ikeas mattresses! I own a memory foam one and they are cheap. $449 for a queen plus $150 for the "box" the slatted one.

I was 21 years old. I dressed up like the State Fair brand corn dog costume for a food show at Portland, Oregon's Memorial Coliseum. On the outside I was waving, under the costume I was in tears.

Oh God we lived off 47th and south Tacoma way...scary place. Gunshots, fights, crazy people. You can type in a city or zipcode and then demographics, it will bring up lots of helpful info

Our bah rate here at Bragg is $990 down from $1270 at Lewis for e4, either way we've lived on base but its weird to be getting less bah and way more house here at Ft Bragg.
