If you have animals please don't let them poop in people yards.. I promise I will catch you anf follow you home.. When you step out of your door you will step in it or I will put it on your door knob.. I don't have pets for a reason.. If you get mad at this post I don't care.. Sick and tired of nasty people... 

I don't have dogs but I don't see why if you see them you don't just act like an adult and say something...instead of stooping down to their level, ever lower, and acting that way about it. 

If you are taking your pet out for a walk bring a bag. Us non pet owners don't want to step in it.

I don't disagree...I just disagree with your responding actions. They can get a fine for letting their dog poop and not pick it up...you can get a fine for what you would do (wiping on doorknob). Be the bigger person and say something instead. 

I hate when people don't pick up after their pets, they just let them run free, do their business and don't care where. It's always been a big problem when we lived in all of our apartments and even with our house we rent now since there's no fence we get random dogs in our yard quite frequently (a lot of it is these one ppl whose dogs get loose every single day and they don't care).

Problem is, people who are sh*tbags know what they are doing, they just don't care. So even when you ask them nicely they won't change their behavior. Back at my old apartment every time the neighbors in front of us let their dogs run loose(no leash and no supervision) and they'd poop right in front of our patio, I would bag it up and place it on their doorstep for them to throw away. They'd pick it up for like 2days but then went right back to their old behavior.

Whenever I go out for a walk with my dog, I always bring several poopbags cuz I know, for some reason, she's going to poop like 3 times, I guess the walk just works it out of her lol. 

Go talk to your neighbor, like an adult, or risk getting a fine or arrested. If they don't listen then contact housing. Pets must be leashed unless inside a fence. 

Are these neighbors or maybe a stray? If neighbors I would talk to them, strays, well that's what the non emergency number is for.

For the record I dont think anyone should let their dogs relive themselves on someones lawn without picking it up. 

I don't think it's right to have your dog crap on someone's yard... But I definitely don't think it's ok to put that crap on someone's doorknob...

I totally agree people should pick up their crap, er, their dogs crap. If I seen it I would say something. If they continued letting it happen....get it on video and turn it in.

Some very obnoxious teens had walked to a grocery store I was shopping at. They were completely rude and disruptive. While I loaded up my bags I saw them come out, unwrap their candy bars and throw the trash on the ground as they walked home.
I picked it up and threw it away. Saw them walking down the street so I pulled over and told them I took care of their trash. Then they got a pretty good lecture. ;)

I don't like kids for the same reason Msdiamond doesn't like pets. Irresponsible parents. 

Just because you seen one big dog a lady PICK IT UP.. doesn't mean its that same dog... 

I just noticed yesterday someone in our neighborhood put a sign at our mailboxes about this same subject. It says housing has been notified, if you do this you will get caught, please respect others, etc. Maybe you could put up a similar sign? Notify housing? Talk to the people you see doing it? All of these sound like better options then leaving poop on the doorknob. 

I have pets, and I still hate it when people allow their dogs to poop all in our front or side yards. They don't seem to care. I have caught the same lady 3 x letting her dog poo in my yard. The first time I asked her politely to pick it up. She said I don't have a bag. I politely gave her an entire roll of bags and told her to keep it I have tons of them, and she cussed me out in front of her daughters who were about 3-4 yrs old and a maybe preteen? Real mature. The next few times she ignored me and walked off. But we live on a corner that apparently dogs are compelled to poo on our lawn and the owners are d*bags who just don't care. If I wanted poop in my yard, I would allow my dogs to go there, but I don't...for a reason.

I have got out of my truck several times and stepped in it. I remember a day my son came home from school and I was rinsing dishes and preparing food...I kept smelling something. Then I hear I smell something and uh oh! Yep, lots of smooshy poo tracked all across both of my rugs and the wooden floor. That infuriated me. So now every time someone does it, and IF I am lucky enough to catch them, I just say politely, "Do you need a poop bag to pick that up?" It usually catches them off guard and they are embarrassed and pick it up right away, except for the rude lady with her little cocker spaniel! 

Why don't you guys with problems that say the people don't care actually report it? They'll start caring when they get a fine I'm sure. Instead of taking the time to say something to them, grab your phone and get them on video. Give it to housing or the proper authorities off post. 

We have several times here(reported) no one does anything, including housing. I don't think it's my job to put my kids in the car and follow these people all the way home, but I figure if you confront them head on, and maturely and with respect people would respond appropriately and do the right thing. Most have. Just one really mean lady! lol
