All this talk about Avengers has got me thinking about going to the movies. I've a lot heard good things about the flick. 

I don't but I should. I read an article that stated ounce for ounce movie theater popcorn is pricer that filet minion at most steakhouses! 

I sure do and here is why...I had gastric bypass surgery so not many movie snacks are friendly to me. I buy their water, but I bring my own protein bar in and sometimes when I am feeling risky get their popcorn. Yeah I'm bad, I admit it lol 

Heck yes. I usually bring a drink of some sort, sometimes I bring snacks too. But I do get the popcorn there :) its horrible and I love it.

The poll is at 7-1. But in all, honesty having a purse makes it incredibly tempting and easy.

My purse got searched at the last post movie I went to, and I felt like a jerk with all the bottled waters and snacks I had in there. But seriously. The price mark up for things you can get for MUCH cheaper at any store, not to mention the terrible food choices that they have, make it ridiculous to purchase movie food. So yeah. You can bet your @$$ I smuggle in food. For post crap, I'm gonna start wearing cargo pants with pockets up the ying-yang cause they can't search those! Lol 

I have brought everything from a Burger King meal(for 4 of us!), candy, sodas, fuit and chips. And I am a proud mother of a 17 yr old girl who managed to sneak an ice cream from Cold Stone yesterday to see the avengers!!! 

Oh, and a LONG nerds rope!

In Maui, there was this Chinese place right outside of the theater that my parents and I loved, and my mom and I would sneak pork wontons and sweet and sour sauce with us into movies. Lol. My mom was the ultimate felon when it came to "movie day". She LOVED hitting up the movies. We were so frequent that we seriously should have had a membership card or something. She got so tired of paying so much for movies, and the movie "security" system there wasn't the greatest either, so she started taking full advantage of the system and would pick a weekend day, buy a ticket, load up her giant purse (because she was a BIG purse kinda gal) and spend the day jumping from movie to movie. :-/ My mom the little criminal! Lol.

I remember when I was in middle school, my parents dropped me off at the mall way later than I was supposed to be there to get into the movie my group of friends and I wanted to see, and they all were in already, and our movie was sold out. I wasn't about to waste 2 hours doing squat by myself or call my parents to pick me up, so I bought a ticket for a different movie, and snuck into the one all my friends were at. I went home, and was SUPER reluctant to tell my folks, thinking I was going to get into a heap of trouble. Turns out, after I told them, they looked at each other and started cracking up! I was like, "You aren't mad at me?" And my parents were like, "Heck no. Screw the movie theater.".....ok, so maybe this is where I get my anti-movie-theater-food sentiments from. Lol. We don't even go to the movies unless it's 1) Free, or 2) A date. Our attitude is, "If we want to see it that bad, we can wait until it comes out on dvd". Yeah....that was my dad for you. Lol. 

Hell yes ;-) prices are ridiculous at the theater!

not really sneak. my daughter brings her cup of milk sometimes. otherwise we will buy a water or juice.

we buy the popcorn at mcchord because its cheap. if we arent going there, i make popcorn at home and we eat it before the movie or in the car on the way there. if shes full when we get there shes not going to beg for it. 

My kids got food allergies so heck yes I do! there is like NOTHING he can eat except skittles and starburst 

My son works at a movie theater and tbe snacks are where they make their money. Hince the astronomical prices. That being said, yes I sneak snacks in. I buy the popcorn because I love it, but everything else comes from tbr dollar store lol. 

I usually buy a drink and popcorn, but I bring my own candy and water bottle. My sisters like to sneak in Slurpies from 7-11 though. 

I usually stick baggies of popcorn in my purse. If my kids don't each have their own popcorn they will argue over whether or not we should get butter on it, or the sprinkle toppings, who gets to hold the bag, who is eating more, etc. And they argue about it loudly. So I feel like I am doing all the other movie-goers a favor by bringing my own.

But I do buy them each an Icee and get a soda or a bottled water for myself. 

Ill buy a drink and popcorn but if I'm at a store before I'll grab some candy. Now, my husband on the other hand will sneak in alcohol lol. 

Most of the time we buy hot dogs, popcorn, candy, and a drink at the movies. Other times we will run to Target and grab some candy and a few 20 oz drinks, lol. Just depends on what we are doing or where we are when the urge to watch a movie strikes. 

Yes I do sneak snacks in. When the price of a movie ticket stops being the cost of stock in the movie production company I'll stop sneaking in snacks. lol!

But seriously, just the tickets for my whole family is over $50..we can't afford that and another $50 for a few dollars worth of popcorn and fountain soda. 

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I do prefer to bring water in my purse, though. 

Heck yes I do! Diaper bag baby! The shame would be in carrying a bag that large & not sneaking in some sort of contraband :) 

i ALWAYS bring food in. heck, i brought subway once. on occassion i will buy popcorn, i eat 2 bites then take it home to my husband. we go to the movies often and i'm not a big popcorn person :) 

I sure do, lol. I always bring in candy, but I still get the popcorn and sodas there. =) That place breaks the bank, lol ~~heather
