Ok got the hang of how to post in here lol Hi I'm new on here I have heard of this sight but never got on until now. I was browsing the topics and said wow I need to make an entry, well we moved here from Cali in aug I am 28 hubby 27 we have 3 kids 5,4&2. I would love to meet people and hopefully they have younger kids if not that's ok I get to speak to an adult. I always have big ans but no one to bring over. Back home I was the city planner so it's hard to take that jacket off. Lol. I.e. I wanted to plan a neighborhood BBQ for easter/spring egg hunt for kids and fun games a type of pot luck. Idk just feel it would be easier if I knew someone. I am an easy going person I haven't had the opportunity to meet anyone yet we have one vehicle and the kids so I'm pretty much here with cabin fever. Ok thank you to any that reply.

We are originally from Nevada City near Tahoe. Came to Lewis from FT. Stewart GA over a year ago. Love to read write and learn new things. Not into seeing the world from a distance ...no prefer to get up in there so I can make a difference.

I live on post. I live in parkway. Hubby put us on list w/o looking at housing just asked which is quickest to move into and choose. Oh well. I would really like to plan this with you all and I don't have any problems paying for most of the stuff just so we could finally meet people. :-) so if sounds like something youd like to do let me know and I would love to cross ideas with everyone thank you for reading. Really I appriciate even this. 

@megan and myopinon I would love to get this going to give the kids some fun. Last year for a city event we had kids make Easter baskets they painted glued jewels and did the hunt. There is a golden egg that had a $5 in it. We did egg toss, bean bag toss it was loads of fun. We did an adult vote and had beer not lollapolloza amount but like 18/24 pk. That's how I got hubby to go. But we did a Xmas event back home and it was strictly for the kids to just hot cocoa. 

Sounds super fun. I'm more of a need directions type of person. I'm very ADHD and prefer to march to my own drummer. Sadly this won't plan a WAY COOL EASTER EVENT. So you will need to lead the way. Tell me what to do. 

Ok cool. Well do you live on post? Maybe we could get together for lunch at PX then we could make a list then e could have it written down. I promise it will be lots of fun. I can email you my schedule this week then you may let me know when we could go to PX. If not we can plan by email. My husband and middle child have ADHD I hate how some ppl say just pay attention. Ummm not that easy when everything is grabbing ur attention. Well my kids r tearing up the house I need to get of the computer or else I will be buried by mess. But I'll email you my schedule and my ideas and hopefully we can meet and get this planned out. 

Lol, I can help plan :) on post does have a community Easter hunt and holiday stuff but we could just get together with people from the page and other friends. I live in Lakewood just moved off post since hubby is deploying but I'm only a 10 min drive away.

Hai. I'm Cammie. I have three sons, ages 7, 4, and 2.
I live in New Hillside. I like neighborhood events and stuff. Like a meet n greet. A friend of mine that I met in Colorado has a block party every summer wherever they're stationed and invite new people to come and mill around just so that there's new faces and give other people a chance to mingle. You could try something like that. 

A friend of mine in CO did the same thing. Loved the way it was out there. Even if my road name sucked. Stumpf. Who the heck names a road Stumpf? 

Hi all right now myopinon is finding a nice park if you have any suggestions they would be well recieved. Also we are planning it potluck style that Easter afternoon for those who will attend church. Once we find the park I will put another post that will have time location and what you could do to help. One thing I would suggest is if everyone in attendance could bring a dozen candy filled Easter eggs for the hunt. I'm having my husband cut out some holes in a big board to play bean bag toss, if there are enough kids that will be coming I would like to rent a bounce house and if anyone would like the responsibility of calling around and being the money collector for that, that would be appreciated. If you would like to help and make new friends and have a grey kid friendly event then I would like to set a meeting for all just so we meet before hand and kids are welcomed. *everyone with a child please bring a dozen candy/sticker or eraser filled eggs for the hunt. I also would like a count of how many children I will be bringing supplies so kids could make their own Easter baskets for the hunt. 

*oops a child that will be in on the hunt is what I meant for the eggs. Not a dozen for each child just a dozen per family. Thank you so much for responding and volunteering.
