JULY 4 REMINDER: When planning Independence Day celebrations, remember *all* consumer fireworks are illegal on JBLM (including housing areas). Any personal possession or use of fireworks of any description - inc. sparklers, smoke bombs, noisemakers, etc. - is prohibited. A public fireworks display is scheduled during JBLM's July 4 "Freedom Fest." Thanks for helping us ensure a safe & enjoyable holiday!
I think the little package the sell at grocery stores should be allowed...those you have to be 18 to buy but they only last a minute or less..including sparklers
What cracks me up about that we aren't allowed even sparklers on post. Check out this months Focus magazine. It has a mother and daughter doing Independence stuff with Sparklers. Don't advertise fun that we aren't allowed to have.
there is always someone stpid to ruin it for someone. my neighbor is one of the. he would sooner burn down the neighborhood than do something smart... if your on palmer lane you know exactly which house im talking about
When planning Independence Day celebrations, remember *all* consumer fireworks are illegal on JBLM (including housing areas). Funny thing is every year there are neighbors here in Davis Hill setting them off, no one ever gets in trouble
We are going to long beach pensinula maybe and seeing the profesional fire works there... there its legal to set off the fire works you get at the reservations so we will be having fun :d even better my daddy is paying :D
What is there to do that not super expensive, I don't want to go to the festival on post because I don't want to pay an arm and leg for rides. And If I see them there I want my kids to enjoy them. So what else is there that I can go enjoy fireworks and not pay an arm and a leg?
