Looking to have a girls night and want to go dancing and have drinks. Any places close to post? Do they have cover charge? Trying to keep as inexpensive as possible. Open to any and all suggestions :-) Thanks!

That was at big whiskey in tacoma, which is no longer open, if you're talking about the person I think you are. Still super scary.

I've gone to steel creek a few times with friends and had a great time :) that's all line dancing stuff though. You can do dinner beforehand and just stay for drinks and dancing. I haven't been to any other places. 

The 1230 Room in Olympia is supposed to be fun; some good friends of mine went there a few times, but I was never able to go due to work. Definitely a club (loud dance music, dim lighting, etc). Big Whisky in Oly is also fun if you like country music. I've always had a good time when we've gone there.

The Big Whisky in Olympia is still open, and is waaaay better than the one in Tacoma was. They're a lot stricter there too.
the one in Tacoma was notorious for fights and drugs.
