We get a lot of new kitties and doggies at our shelter, and the workers and volunteers have the privilege of naming them upon arrival (it helps while working with them, instead of referring to them as a number).

Can I get some suggestions for some cute, wild, or off-the-wall names? 

Skittles, only because that's our dogs name :-)

I like Dempsey. Some names we've had are dash, nala, satan and cloud. 

Also had a cutie names zero years ago. 

Names we've had are:
BrownDog, Rusty, Sandy, Ginger, JJ, Bud and EllieMay, Hazel, Duke, KitKat, Kitten and OD/Odie (stood for other dog!-because we were given 2 pups at once and named the first dog quickly but took forever naming the 2nd) 

Woofie, Mickey, Lacey, Sadie, Tara, mcduff, tigerlily, buddy, fat Albert (giant cat, was scared of kittens lol), Rhea, heather. Stinky smelly farty (fat Alberts brother), stupid kitty, gray-gray, mama kitty, peaches, Georgia, bailey, Wilson, bear, Conan, stubby, silky.

Clearly... some of these names were picked by little people. ;-) 

My Dog Mia had puppies and we named them after The Little Rascals .... Spanky, Darla, Buckwheat, Alfalfa etc...
we also had a dog named Chandler Bing named after Matthew Perrys character from Friends. 

We're wild cowboys fans so we named our puppy Miles (as in Miles Austin!) 

I have a friend who took in a stray cat. She didn't plan on keeping her so they just called her Other Kitty (they had other cats). They wound up keeping her and the name stuck.

I had another friend with a dog named DOG. Pronounced dee-o-gee lol...
