Okay so after reading this article, I have totally changed (or at least trying to change) my whole view of people who take and post selfies on fb.

Thought it would be interesting to share.

That article did nothing to convince me that people that take selfies aren't anything but AWs... If someone feels awesome about the way they look, they should get out into the real world and show it off,... take selfies if they must but ffs stop posting them incessantly as it just screams of insecurity. IMO 

I think just about everyone one of my profile pictures have been a selfie. I just like being able to control every aspect of my photograph, and maybe I'm a bit insecure, lol.

I am forced to take selfies lol. Ok, maybe not, but I'm always the one behind the camera, so I'm trying to learn to take more of myself for my kids. Growing up I loved seeing pics of my mom when I was younger :) And I'm a scrapbooker, and I want some pages of myself :D

I realized this when it hit me that I have no pictured of myself pregnant to show my kids :/ 

The first one. I know which angle and expression looks best, and try to make sure all my pictures include that so I don't look ridiculous ;-) but I don't take many selfies. Because then I feel like I don't have any friends. 

have you seen that ad for the smartphone that obeys voice commands to "shoot shoot record video"? it has this dude playing baseball. idk if he's some famous dude or not.

I love the ones who stick orange wedges or Pringles in their mouth for the duck shot. 

Because then I feel like I don't have any friends. 

lol this is so funny. The thing with taking pictures WITH friends is that they will post the one that makes them look awesome-even if you look crazy horrible in it!. :) 

Haha those are my favorites! It's even better when it's with one of my sisters, and I look great, and they look like a hobo.

Also- when friends are taking pictures, I reserve the right to inspect/reject all that make me look TOO crazy. Some crazy is fun and I allow it :) 

I also take pictures with my kid. He is not entirely a willing party, but I don't care.
