so today hubby had to update everything and get ready for deployment.. and get our application to housing.... well we started off talking about what to save and this and that then he got into he does not want to me to deal with this stuff alone and doesnt want me to deal with the hassle on moving out of post.. well it got heated and i broke down told him im scared to death of him leaving and im not ready for it.. ohhh this is only the beginning. march please dont come so fast :/

I'm not looking forward to finding out when mine will be leaving. I'm already starting to get anxiety and we're not supposed to know for a couple more months. 

its creeping for us.. something we are both avoiding.. but these are the issues that need to be talked about.. the first time he left i didnt have to stress over it.. (his sister was head of everything) now we are a family im the head of everything i and i have to know the small details and the things i dont want to hear... im sure i wont be sleeping good tonight :/ 

I hear ya. With his first deployment, it was a very short one and I was kept in the dark about pretty much everything. This time I have to figure out what needs to be done... And he's not one for explaining things or asking questions so it is going to be difficult.

Hope you get some sleep tonight! 

yeah 1st one we didnt discuss the "what ifs" 2 one it was the same thing... didnt discuss much i didnt ask so he didnt tell.. now family wise.. we have to know the what ifs.. :/ me too... although ive balled my eyes enough im sure once i take a nice hot shower i should right to sleep with him by my side :) 

moving out of post housing is super easy, him leaving sucks... sorry:( We are preparing to say goodbye for the 3rd time in 4.5 years, it doesn't get easier. 

I am sorry for you girls! If it is any consolation...the year will fly by. Enjoy your time and just be sure the importants are taken care...like poa's for everything. The last month is what seems the longest. I got my husband' s first box in the mail....so it feels more real that he will be home soon. 

I totally forgot about POA's!!! We need to get new ones. The ones that my husband got before his last deployment shouldn't have even been valid. He had a brain fart and spelled my name wrong... And the person typing it spelled it wrong too. And not even the same way my husband spelled it. So all of the POA's had my name spelled two different ways! Good thing I never had to use them last time! 

I'm more than ready to leave, can easily clear housing etc. The sucky part is every single time we have ever moved, my husband has been deployed! SUCKS! It's extremely stressful with all the kids and animals. 

My hubby's unit is on their way to Yakama until the end of Oct in preperation for deployment in March. This will be our 3rd in 5 years.
At least the 9 month deployments start in Jan, so if Hubby leaves in March, they may be home for Christmas. 

oh man you found out this far in advance..im sorry...honestly as much as i didnt like it..i preferred finding out only a few weeks in advance for all of hubbys deployments...it didnt give me the chance to break down..im sorry your going through this..... 

Rosey I'm ready to spend some time with family I Miss them so much!! It will be nice to have a break once n a while and enjoy being around my parents!!! I'm just not ready for the see you later part

We found out he would be deploying soon after we got here just didn't know how soon or late.. we knew it was coming :/
