The Richard H. Driehaus Collection is one of the country?s most significant private collections of works by American decorative designer Louis Comfort Tiffany. When the Driehaus Collection was formed during the early 1970s, acquisitions focused primarily on Art Nouveau posters by Alphonse Mucha and his contemporaries. Since then, the collection has grown to include master works of design by such Belle Époque luminaries as Louis Majorelle, the Herter Brothers, Édouard Colonna, John La Farge, Émile Gallé, and Josef Hoffman. Louis Comfort Tiffany and his associated firms, widely recognized as the ?gold standard? for American decorative objects of the late 19th and early 20th-centuries, provide the essential core of the Driehaus Collection. After acquiring his first Tiffany Studios stainedglass window in 1978, Richard H. Driehaus, a businessman and philanthropist, has increased his collection to over 1,500 Tiffany works, including ecclesiastical and secular windows, Favrile glass, vases, lamps, candlesticks, accessories, and furniture, to preserve for future generations as well as to enjoy in his private home and corporate offices. The Richard H. Driehaus Gallery of Stained Glass opened on Chicago?s Navy Pier in 2001. This first public exhibition of Tiffany works from the Driehaus Collection showcases eleven Tiffany stained-glass windows and one fire screen. In 2003, Mr. Driehaus founded the Richard H. Driehaus Museum to preserve and publicly exhibit selections from his collection of American and European fine and decorative arts. The Museum, which opened to the public in 2008 after an extensive restoration, is today a stunning showcase for late 19th and early 20th-century art and design, displayed against the magnificent backdrop of the historic Samuel M. Nickerson Mansion. Louis Comfort Tiffany: Treasures from the Driehaus Collection is the first time a diverse selection of Tiffany works from the Driehaus Collection will be publically exhibited in Chicago in a context for which many of these objects were originally created. OK. Good for jewelry and special gifts with something to fit every price point out there.
BUT they also fix pieces. I have a beautiful Paloma Picasso necklace on a black silk cord that needed to be fixed. I was hoping that if I dropped it off today, it would be ready before I left NYC so I wouldn't need to send a friend to get it.
Hillary up on the 6th floor took such good care of me. Not only did I walk out with my necklace fixed for a reasonable price but they also cleaned it and gave me a new pouch.
Today, I resisted temptation to look at any new pieces to the collection. I think my husband will be happy. Diane W. Cord frayed after 15 years. Was replaced and cleaned in about 30 minutes. Cord frayed after 15 years. Was replaced and cleaned in about 30 minutes. Cynthia D. voted for this review

I would have to say, this is one of the most special places to visit in New York. When you walk in, it's packed but make your way to the back elevators and start by visiting the other floors.
My visit was for a watch band and a few pieces of Peretti. I started with customer service and wonderful Jackie treated me like the most important person in the store. While she had a new watch band put on one of my sons watches, she had someone bring me an ice cold glass of water. I was so comfortable, I honestly told her, I could spend all day. Oh, in my dreams...
I stopped at a few more floors before making my way to street level. This time, I took my time looking at all of the fabulous pieces of sparkling and remarkable jewelry. I guess every woman's fantasy is about someone taking her to Tiffany for a shopping spree. At least that's my fantasy.
In case anyone is interested, I have a few things in mind. Was this review …?

I'm a frequent customer at the T&Co boutique in Miami Design District. But, I'm a born n raised NYC girl. And, the Flagship store in Midtown NYC is always what I see first in my mind's eye when thinking Tiffany. Particularly, because of Audrey and Breakfast at Tiffany's. However, living in Miami I am generally loyal to the friendly staff and gorgeous interior of the Design District store.
I was visiting NYC and wanted to view a specialty charm, the silver Save the Wild Elephant with a small tsavorite stone. I entered the store from 5th Avenue. I am immediately breathless from memories and a passion for classic Tiffany, Schlumberger, Peretti and Picasso. Staff members politely welcome me and direct me towards the third floor. The elevator operator wishes me a good day with a genuine smile. Exiting in to the open floor, a sales associate directs me to Samantha W, who pleasantly asks how she can assist me. I explain that I'm planning to wait until the Save the Wildlife collection is available in Miami, but I want to see the Elephant Crisis Fund charity charm (100% of profits to be donated to save the elephants from poachers and extinction). She first compliments me on my Tiffany jewelry, and we begin briefly discussing and comparing the pieces we both enjoy. Samantha brings me the elephant and permits me to examine the charm. She follows by explaining that the piece is for a worthy charity, which sends our conversation to a new direction. I explain my loyalty to the MDD boutique. Instead of disappointment, I get professional respect and she gives me her business card in the event I need any assistance while in NYC. Two days later, Samantha's card falls from my bag. Instead of waiting, I decide to walk to Tiffany on a VERY busy Saturday. Again, cordiality reigns over my experience. I visit the 3rd floor and a sales associate and floor manager rapidly help me locate Samantha. While waiting, sales associate, Joel, keeps me company and talks to me about my Tiffany jewelry and the MDD. Samantha joins us, visibly excited that I've returned and quickly brings me my new elephant charm. A perfect addition to my Tiffany collection. My sales transaction with Samantha is quick and uncomplicated and I leave the boutique with a fabulous memento of a great visit to NYC.
Though the boutique has broad diversity ranging from $75 to millions of dollars, the entire staff is always pleasant, helpful, polite and treats every shopper with respect, without regard for viewing versus buying. Samantha W exemplified that anticipated demeanor.
Tiffany & Co., is highly recommended for its happily professional employees, notably in Midtown NYC (and Miami Design District) and the beautiful works of wearable art and ephemera. Was this review …?

5 stars for customer service. I came here to get my mom's earrings cleaned. My sister and I got our mom the Olive Leaf Earrings for mother's day. However, after a week of wearing them, they started to tarnish pretty badly... I was confused because it's sterling silver and emailed Tiffany & Co. They said they offer complimentary cleaning for their jewelry so I decided to get them cleaned. I went up to the 6th floor, where customer service was, and sat down with one of the customer service reps. The lady was really nice and after she took a look at the earrings, said she would be right back. I didn't know she went to get them cleaned but when she came back, they looked brand new! I was so surprised with how quick the process was. Tony L. voted for this review

The customer service and repair department is top notch! I took my 20-year old Tiffany watch in to have the back plate put back on after it fell off due to poor service at another jeweler that replaced a battery and scratched the silver plate (see review for Re-Fined). Tiffany's staff were friendly and real pro's. They fixed my watch immediately and sent me off feeling great! Photo of Tiffany & Co - New York, NY, United States

You don't mess w the flagship store.
The first store, the original location. And being in the title of Truman Capote's "Breakfast At Tiffany's" didn't hurt, either.
It's enormous in size, & understandably can be intimidating if you think about the sheer inventory that's housed within these walls.
So many diamonds, so much bling, so many shiny things. So little time.
Fortunately, they put a book together for that. It looks great on your coffee table, & you'll get to admire their one of a kind creations without losing your home or the kids' college funds.
What I love ALMOST as much as getting a blue box is the fact that you can have anything engraved here, even if it's something that was not purchased at Tiffany's. Just like in the movie. Zero issue or judgement. I had a gorgeous sterling silver zippo lighter that I received as a gift engraved here, & they did a very Tiffany (beautiful) job.
You can always count on Tiffany's.

What an elegant, classic New York destination full of fine jewelry, charms, and other shiny baubles. I was exploring Central Park South & the Plaza Hotel when I noticed Tiffany & Co was nearby and knew I had to stop in. This is the iconic flagship store, as seen in Breakfast at Tiffany's and noted for its Art Deco limestone building. Upon entering, you are politely greeted by a doorman (not just the select few who may appear to be serious shoppers) and ushered into an array of high-end jewelry on the first floor. It's always good to see the beautiful of real diamonds and precious metals, even if it's not in your budget at the moment.
From there, there is a bank of elevators, complete with a friendly attendant, taking you to the other levels depending on your jewelry interests. I opted for the silver jewelry floor, and admired the dainty charms- many with NYC themes, what a special souvenir!- along with their trademark rings, long silver necklaces, keys, locks...So many items I'm still thinking about and have added to my Pinterest wishlist.
If you are visiting NYC this holiday season (or anytime, really!), this is a must-stop to celebrate the season of gift-giving and New York dreams. Photo of Tiffany & Co - New York, NY, United States

This flagship location of Tiffany & Co is a dream. From the time you walk in the door, you're treated like a queen. The greeters at the door are very friendly and knowledgeable about where specific items are located. And now for a description of the goods - each floor is filled with tons of sparkly, shiny and beautiful things. Any and everything Tiffany makes will be in this store, and if you can't find what you're looking for, they'll ship it to you at home or directly to the store for pick up.
I went to repair a necklace and again, I was wowed. Upon entering the store, I was directed to the elevators where an attendant escorted me to customer service. Once I arrived on the sixth floor, I was greeted by a receptionist who instructed me to wait for a representative who helped me with my order. The representative was able to help with my repair, gave an estimate on completion and cost. Once the order was done, I received a call and an email from a Tiffany employee. Great customer service!!!
Note of caution: if you don't like crowds, steer clear. This location is sure to be packed from open to close. Photo of Tiffany & Co - New York, NY, United States. On a beautiful summer day, when Pete and I were just dating, he took me all along 5th Avenue to "window shop" engagement rings. This was to give him an idea of what I would like. It was a pretty incredible day for me. Except the stop at Tiffany's.
First, no one would wait on us. We had to basically hunt down a salesperson who was waiting on someone else, and sent over a man to help us. No one offered us a drink or a seat. We had to walk around until we saw something I wanted to see and then call the salesman over to ask to see it. I felt like I was imposing on them.
If you're thinking Pete and/or I were dressed like bums, I believe we were dressed wayyyy nicer than other couples there that were getting service. I was offended and a little hurt. Tiffany's is so iconic. It took a lot to not let this ruin my day. I was very disappointed and saddened by the terrible customer service I received.
Fast forward, Pete and I are now married. He bought my engagement ring, and our subsequent wedding bands, at an independent jeweler. Nina H. and 5 others voted for this review

Very dissatisfied with the appointment experience. My girlfriend and I have begun looking for engagement rings. We thought it would be good to visit a few local Jewelers and also set up appointments at brands like Tiffany to determine what style and details she likes and where we would get the best experience. It certainly was not here! Our appointment was with Janet who may have well been the Grinch. We didn't receive a warm welcome, a congratulations, a why Tiffany spiel, or ask us anything about what we wanted. We awkwardly sat upstairs, and had to just start naming random things we wanted to look at. We were then very surprised at the examples that were available. Nothing in a 6.5 that would fit her finger, and most of the diamonds were cloudy from fingerprints or scratched. No way I'll be making my purchase from here. Nina H. and 1 other voted for this review

I went there to check out upgrades on my engagement rings. The sale representative named Iris was not helpful. I asked about the general policy on ring upgrades as I read online there were variations - some people said the new ring has to be more than double the price of the first, some said it is not necessary. The reply I got was ridiculous- she said I had to bring in the certificate to give me any information. Hello?! The ring was on my finger right there! I am sure they know how to check if it's a real one and all the specs on it. How hard is it to give me some general information? Do you expect people to spend if you give them no information at all?
To make it worse, she was suggesting that "you should bring the certificate and your husband together next time and we will sit down"... Okay, so does it look to her that without my husband, I have no decision power or whatsoever on the ring upgrade. I found it quite patronizing. Oh and throughout the entire time, she was laughing and having small talks with another sales rep, I am not sure what is so funny about the entire experience. I am sure I will do the upgrade some time soon, just not with this store and not with this lady. Cassie B. and 3 others voted for this review

On a recent visit to town for some Elsa Peretti, we stopped by to Tiffany's. What woman stays on the same block as Tiffany's and doesn't just peek in, just because?
It was a super crowded post Christmas, pre-New Years week full of tourists from all parts of the world, madness with Trump towers security, bag searches and issues with even getting to the door. I feel terrible for Gucci and Tiffany's being sandwiched between that mess.
Anyway, Hadj on floor 2 in Schlumberger and Jill F. across from the Elsa Peretti home collection on the 3rd floor were excellent customer service specialists. Jill is a new PT hire to Tiffany's and she's a welcomed asset to the team. She's warm, personable and shared her personal favorites as her and I reminisced on our favorite Tiffany's pieces that we have bought over the years. Classics, retired pieces and such.
Unfortunately the sales counter experience for the Elsa Peretti necklaces on the third floor were the exact opposite. They ignored my husband and I for no less than 10 minutes as we waited to try on a piece to make a purchase, we're ignored by associates and not even given the 2 seconds it would take to acknowledge the clients waiting and to assure them that someone would be by as soon as possible. Finally a woman came by and I felt rushed and as if she was simply waiting to go to the next guest. I ended up going to buy the piece from Jill because as busy as it was that day, she made the client felt special, cared for and gave us the Tiffany's experience we have known to expect over the years.
You don't shop luxury to be profiled and ignored. You shop luxury for attention, service, brand loyalty and craftsmanship. The third floor Elsa Peretti associates need a team huddle and should get coached on many things. Ignoring clients is a huge no and so is assuming who will and will not make a purchase and treating them according to your ideas. If my sole experience that day was with those women, I'd never return to shop at Tiffany's. Jill and Hadj redeemed the brand loyalty and service experience I've known to love. 4 people voted for this review
