We were just offered a house in Beachwood 2 (port angeles). We are asks also looking at a house in yelm. Is it worth it to live on post? I'm worried about energy costs and the commute for my husband. He's an E-6. On post seems like a great deal because it's actually E7-E9. 

Commute to post in the morning from Yelm... not too bad... Commute back after getting off work... half hour to an hour. We used to live in Rainier and it would take my husband almost two hours to get back home.
