I'm just trying to get things moving...So what do you guys think of this Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice? 

As for AP......I can't imagine what on earth this 4 year old could have done to deserve to be beat with a stick. I don't know if you guys have seen the pics, but the ones that came online were taken 4 days after the beating. I can't even imagine what they looked like the day of. I understand the whole 'Southern' thing, but NO! I was raised in the south and never had welts, especially at 4! 

What about that Ray Rice guy.....? I'm kind of upset the video came up. I knew, and everyone and their cousin knew that he'd knocked out his wife, he came clean and was punished for it. But I just don't get why the video coming out means that all of a sudden his career must be over. The girl married him within a month of the beating and clearly she forgave him. Shouldn't this become a personal issue?

Yesterday I read about a soldier that beat his 2 year old to death for pooping in her diaper. Some people just don't need kids.
Guy that punched his wife should have been jailed instead of the security guard making sure cops weren't called. Probably not popular opinion, but I don't think he should keep his job since kids and young adults look at professional sports "stars" as role models for some reason.

He initially told them she was drunk so he assumed that's why she was passed out 

I am from the south and have been beat not spank with switches broom handles etc. my boys fight and this was awful. I used alternatives to spanking that have worked. As for Roy Rice I do not condone but that tape was awful even if she was drunk why are you dragging her. To each it's own.
