to the thrift shop on Lewis main? Me and hubs tried to go once, and we put addy in gps and when we got there it wasn't there lol. It took us a bit to even get close to the point on our gps with all the road closures anyways, but it just wasn't there. So we got a little lost, and trying to find our way back home we came upon it, but they were closed. I was wanting to go today, but I know I'll probably never find it again. So, if anyone could give me dumbed down turn by turn directions, I'd so appreciate it!! My gps also makes up roads that aren't there, and doesn't acknowledge some that are, so it's pretty worthless on post :/ 

It's on Pendleton Ave across from the MP station/Fire department. I think it's close to 4th street. It's been a while since I went - I didn't think it was worth going back. I like the McChord one better. 

By evergreen school on north division. Well I live like around the corner so for me its north division. 

Evergreen is by Madigan, no where near there! 

I have the worst sense of direction ever :) I can still get lost in my hometown - and it's a smaaaaall town lol. I think what our problem was the first time was that we got so turned around by the tome we actually spotted it, we didn't realize we were back on Pendleton. But I ended up zooming way in on google maps and just picked out a random out of the way route that I was hoping wouldn't have any closures to get me around the closed part of Pend. I found it :)

I was just so aggravated last week trying to get to an addy in Clarkdale. My gps kept trying to get me to turn onto rds that just were 't there- then when I pulled onto the correct st, it took me to the wrong house lol.

MB20girl, it's easy to pass. Its in a really strange location in those old "garage type buildings"! lol Who looks for that stuff? I am glad you found it. I have known where its at for years, but have never been in there. Anything worth looking at? Prices? What was your opinion of the thrift store? 

I swear that sign says evergreen. I thought clarkmoor school was next to the clarkmoor daycare or near it. All I know is I take north division through davis hill and its right there on the right.

Greenwood is up on the hill to the right as you are going through Greenwood driving up the hill to Davis Hill.

When we first moved here (many moons ago! lol) we got so confused. We did not realize there were so many schools on post! 

Clarkmoor kind of is close to the daycare and parade field(Watkins Field) 

BTW, is Clarkmoor getting rebuilt as well? Does anyone know?

As for clarkmoor I seen next to the hourly care they are building something. I thought it was a new daycare but we wont be here long enough to see it. 

Yes, they are building a new daycare right now, right next to the old daycare.

We are headed back home to ft drum. Well home is an hour south of drum but hey its home. 

Samba, I was expecting them to have more - but I also didn't look at everything. Today we went mostly for books :) My mom needed something to read for her plane ride home tomorrow. I wasn't too impressed, but she did get a bagful of books for $3 so it was worth it :) (now, me finding the airport tomorrow will be fun - but something tells me that will be easier than finding my way around Lewis lol)

Check the consignment store as well, it's separate but in the same lot. I have found some goodies in there a few times when I have gone in.

Hmm I wonder if they are open today? I'm gonna pop some tags if so. he he Just curious to see what is in there. I am feeling like a lil crafty project. Maybe I will get lucky and make a good find.
