Hi everyone. We are moving to Ft.Lewis next week and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to board pets? I don't think I will need to board my dog but just in case I would like to know of a good place to call. I have read that the kennel on post is not a good choice. Thanks so much for your help :) 

Open Paws Pet Sitter is who we use; she runs it out of her house in Puyallup/Spanaway. You'll have to bring your dog for a meet and greet first, but she's absolutely great and I have no problems leaving my pets there because I know they're taken care of and have lots of play time! This is the only place I trust my neurotic dogs to! She keeps a home-like atmosphere for the babies but you have to make sure she's not booked! 

Yup! She fills up fast because she can only have so many dogs in her house at once (it's nuts!), but she does have kids in their teens and older who help her out. You just have to bring a crate/kennel and enough food for the time they'll be there and they get a lot of walks and playtime. They even get a bath before they leave! She's awesome!

They are awesome! Let the dogs play with the doggie day care pups each day at no extra charge and will pick up/drop off if you are tight on time.
