I need info on them. I have no clue what they are or if I can use them for what I want. Im trying to fly home this summer to visit family and chill for a couple weeks. Can I use it for that? It says online if my hubs is deployed for more than 120 days I can or something but is that to go see him when he gets home or just for anything while hes gone and can I only use it after hes been gone 120 days etc...so many questions lol.

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

I've never flown on a mac flight but from my understanding I think Mac flights are for when you are over seas and want to go home. But they only get you to the states then you have to pay for a ticket from the place you land it states to whatever state you want to go to

no they are for other things too...there are diff things that make you qualify for them and i looked that up and i might qualify but i need to know more about them.

Talk to travel.

Unless they've changed something when you go to fly you are put into a category-dependents traveling without their sponsor who is not deployed I'm pretty sure is the highest category (meaning everyone else will bump you off). They only list the upcoming flights for the upcoming 72 hours-so you just kinda have to be ready to go if you see a base pop up that is close to where you want to be. I think the passenger terminal is suppose to have up to the minute accurate recordings when you call them. So then when you'd want to come home you'd need to watch for flights coming back this way. I would always have an amount of money put aside that would allow you to travel home if the flights didn't work out or got full. You just need lots of flexibility and patience:)

thanks Kristin...i dont have that kind of patience on this one and have kinda flexable but not that flexable days i need to be there for...so i guess im gonna have to shell out the rediculously overpriced 500 bucks for me and a 5 yr old round trip to co...

you can find it on facebook..the mcchord passanger terminal. they do only put them out 72hours ahead but i wouldnt worry to much qbout getting bumped bc i have never seen a full flight. lol.

i've never used them, but i'm pretty sure that unless you're going somewhere "prime" like hawaii then you don't have to worry too much.

I've checked this a lot and they update passenger info after the flight leaves. mamarex is right, they hardly ever fill a flight. I was told you can use it to fly anywhere they're going while your hubby is deployed but you need a sponsorship letter from his command. Good luck!
