My friends husband has not been paid from the military. They are out of town. Finance would not speak to them over the phone. She went on Facebook and posted this. Several other random friend/service members as well said they did not get paid. Or if they did it was very little. What do you know of this?

Dk we were paid as normal last week and next week I checked LES since they are up and it is normal.

Yup you should or if you have usaa you should be paid Friday

Hm haven't heard about it, was paid like normal. Could they have been overpaid at another time and it's catching up with them now? I know another thing that can get you a no pay due is being behind (not sure how much) on your Star Card payments, they can take your full pay until the balance is paid off. Had it happen to a friend of mine, thankfully he didn't owe a huge amount, but he did get a no pay due one payday.

yeah. don't just pocket overpayment... it's like taking out a payday advance except with no way to make small bite sized payments, and no idea what day you will have to pony up. 

Yeah anytime we have been paid extra it went straight into savings because the military is slow to pay US, but when they want THEIR money, they take it all at once no matter if you get a no pay due for several paydays in a row.

Pretty much the only time we had issues was when he first came in (came in as an E4 but was being paid as an E1, finally got that straight and the back pay, then when he was getting ready to go to deal with desert shield/storm and they were working in Savannah loading ships, a whole bunch of them didn't get paid). After deployment when he would get his extra pay I would make sure it was supposed to be that before putting it back over into the checking account. 

Doesnt hurt to ALWAYS check the LES
