I agree...I'm from So Cal & one summer it was 115 out....now...I'm like "eff this!" when it gets to 85...climatized to Washington temps... 

Oh I could handle the heat in WA, but I know others can't lol. I had it down to a schedule when to open my windows and put fans facing out to suck the heat out of the house, then turn them around at night to bring in the cooler air, then close them before daylight and keep all my blinds shut all day. Now Oklahoma heat, ugh over 100 degrees almost every day of summer and NO rain, so I use my AC during the summers here for sure, although my electric bill hates me lol 

I have a 6000 BTU Frigidaire window A/C unit for sale too. $50 on Lewis main
