I have some. I will be out of the house for a few hours so he can come pick them up later this evening if he wants. I even have garbage bags full of used packing paper that can be reused if you want.

Have you tried the recycle center on post, when you go in the gate there is a trailer to your right that is usually full of boxes, we also went to Big 5 is Lacy and they gave a us a ton just make sure you go either on a fri or sat after they get their truck in.

I buy boxes from Uhaul for moving. They are not as expensive as most people think and the Army is paying for your move anyway, right? Whatever boxes you bring back unused they refund you for, and they are not flimsy. You can use them to move again or for storage.

we usually get our boxes at lowes or home depot. i cant remember which was cheaper... the one by kmart in lakewood, behind ihop. you get a military discount too.

i can never bring myself to use other peoples boxes. you just never know whats been in them... fleas, lice, rodents. even my own boxes i have a hard time reusing. (ocd i guess!)

my neighbours had a horrible rat problem when we lived there. it seemed like they were hoarding, but think it was just laziness. when they moved she threw tons of stuff on the curb, including boxes. people that took things had no idea. hopefully it was sanitized when they took it home.

starbucks gives away free boxes. call ahead to know their shipment dates or they might already be gone
