I wrote this morning about a flagger who kept flaaging my ad, I had an idea who it was and about an hour later I got this message! Yep, it was the person who wrote to me before, and I didn't answer her then and still won't. TRUST ME, if my services WERE bad EVERYONE on LYS and UNDERGROUND would know and I wouldn't be in buisness for over 12 years.

hey im sorry to hear about what people are doing but i have a friend that used you and she said you made her come get her dog i ened up keeping him and he was fine but i know that there has been a lot of words going around that your not that good i hope you can keep going 

Goodness how dramatic. Bookoo sounds like SO much fun. 

I've been using bookoo for almost a year until about a month ago, I have never came upon this issue. I am blessed that Bookoo is NOT my source of advertisement but this is just an embarrassement for such catiness from a military wife. 

We have used you many times with our 2 beagles & you're wonderful! :) 

Speakin of a pet sitter!! LOL We are possibly going on a marriage retreat not this upcoming weekend but the next. What are you rates/availability? 

Yeah I wouldn't worry myself with bookoo, you obviously have people who have used you and trust you so dont let people like that get you down. You do your thing and let that just roll off your back 

Heather, I had posted about this about a month ago when it 1st started. The 18 years that I have pet sat and fostered I have ONLY returned 1 dog so I know who that client is. My obligation 1st is to the saftey of ALL my fur babies in my care, when dogs are in packs they don't act the same as if they do when alone at home. When some get around others and haven't been taught what good play and bad play is and nips at others and causes injury. It's my responsibility to hault the situation IMMEDIATELY!


If I'm am forewarned that I have a behavior modification on my hand it's different, during the meet and greet it didn't show this behavior because the parents were here and the dogs didn't play. But this is the client why Open Paws has a contract.


Heather if Jack had an issue with me or my home, he would be the 1st to tell you and his dad :)They are so happy everytime they come and Molly loves having them both. Open Paws prides it's self on outstanding customer service and pet care. Because God knows if I needed someome I would wan't them to show unconditional love and attention as our family does. 

@Shelly, I tell that still to my grown children :) like a duck does water! Thank you so much for your words because I know how word of mouth is the worst but my clients know me :)

I'm so excited for my dog to stay with you soon (Pete! ;) ) and I can tell you now, word of mouth from past and current doggie-owners who've used your services is your most valuable marketing source. More people have positive reviews than negative; in fact, when I first heard about you, I heard no negative whatsoever!

I wonder if its just a competitive rival dog sitter.? Someone who is jelous and trying to stir the pot. Scenesty people have complained about this. Just an opinion. It sounds like people love your service. And never before around here have I heard such claims of you being difficult. Interesting.

Heather, I posted a few days ago, a FREE pet sitting weekend contest the deadline is November 15Th! 

I've only used you once for that long weekend but the fact that my VERY NEUROTIC dog was happy was good enough for me. My favorite part was that you kept us updated by sending email and of course the facebook pictures were awesome because we were all stressing since our dog came to us in a very difficult state physically and mentally. 

My dog needs serious help. Shes a alert animal, but I never certified her fully. Shes grown lazy and witchy. She and I have a difficult relationship. I dont perfer dogs....sorry I dont. I have censory issues from a brain surgery and the feel of dog hair makes my body cringe. However I love her still. She attached to me but she could care less I dont pet her, she follows me around the house everywhere and waits outside the bathroom for me. This used to bug me I would feel STALKED but then I accepted it. I used to have bad siezures which is why she did it. But given im better now its like she does not know how to relax. Shes agressive to EVERYONE AND ANYONE that comes near me, shes nipped at kids adults. It gets old and nerve wracking. I appreciate all shes done with and for me but its gotten out of control. Any suggestions?

Hello myopinion, how you felt about your baby waiting outside the bathroom is how I feel about my NEW stalker! She flagged 2 ads since yesterday I just wish her happiness because someone with that much time on there hands is an UNHAPPY individual because all be damned, If I spent my days flagging.


On a MORE important note, I have a white German Sheppard in my care until January and he has choose me out of everyone in the house. With his families permission, I use a cloth muzzle and as soon as I see the protective mode I place the muzzle on him and say NO! The muzzle takes away the power and with the muzzle on I have him face the same situations. It's NOT being mean but you have to be firm with of course a loving hand, it's CONSTANT repetition but PATIENCE and REWARD with love and treats.


YOU have to let it be known YOUR the packleader!SHOW NO NERVOUSNESS and not allowing the behavior. You can also take her around other dogs with the muzzle on it's reprogramming her way of thinking.

Now on bookoo, have you made certain your add is completely right? On bookoo can anyone flag anything anytime? 

I've had my ads on bookoo for over year and last month they started flagging and I was getting that im message but haven't responded. It's embarrising to see a fellow military wife carrying herself in such a manner but I've been blessed for over 12 years now having my buisness but I have more options then bookoo. The past 23 years of living the life of a military I thought I have seen it all :) 

Sounds like the flagger is just jealous of your business. It's sad one would have to resort to such things to try and eliminate competition, which they are clearly failing at :)
