Now that our kids are back in school...how are the parents? How was your child(rens) first day.

I'm happy, finally got some 'down time'.
My daughter did well, she has the same teacher as last year. Should be a good year for us. 

I miss mine =( At least the boy graduated last year so I got one home till November. I also miss my sleep! 

My 4yr old is driving me up the wall because he does not know what to do without brother home to play with!!! But my oldest is liking it. He has kindergarden and yesterday when I picked him up I asked him how it was and he says,"It was a really long day mom. And it was all work. I didn't even get to play" haha!

LOL! Mine didn't say this to me, but she came home and passed out for a two hour nap. She hasn't done that in forever.

I am happy they are back to school because it puts us back on more of a routine. But I'm sad at the same time because between summer school and my oldest two visiting with their Dad I feel like we didn't get much of a summer vacation. 

I'm having issues w transportation and this people either dont communicate or just dont care. My son rides the special needs bus and his pick up/drop of is in front of my house and thats the way it was last year. This year I call to confirm that is still the same and they say yes thats the address but the bus driver paperwork says my son gets pick up and drop at the regular bus stop at the top of a hill where theres not even houses I mean WTF I can see the stop from my house but NOBODY gets pick/drop there not even the regular bus stop for his school is there since they got rid of that stop a few weeks ago.

Other than that everything good 

Yesterday was the 1st day of High School! He had a great day, I cried when he left and still feel sad because I have no idea where the time went :( 

My daughter gets picked up at a "no parking" sign about two houses down. It's not even on a corner. And then the bus drives right past our house. She's in Kindergarten, she's special needs, and there are no other kids at her stop. It makes no sense why the bus driver just doesn't stop in front of our house. This is what they did last year. The bus driver told me this year they are not allowed to do that. Because the bus police are out watching? Maybe? I don't know, but whatever. Hopefully we will not be here much longer anyway. 

The buses have gps and they can see exactly where they make each stop and the time. 

details- Mine needed to crash out but sadly....they decided it would be MUCH more fun to fight and drive me crazy all day lol 

My son started kindergarten on Aug 27th. I took him to the before school program and then went home to cry before work. I am not sure how time has flown so fast! He loves the full day kindergarten and I get an hour of free time every day after work. That has been nice to go to the gym and work out at home.

The gym here has no daycare. I miss that @ Lewis! 

My oldest is in 3rd grade, and my four year old really wants to start school, but unfortunately his birthday is in November. He'll have to wait another year. 

Mine are 9th,6th, 2nd, &1st grade my perk starts Monday and my oldest graduated last year. Where does the time go and the day seems to past fast. My little one only goes 2 1/2 hours a day I will be doing homework at that time. 

Very sad my son started kindergarten 

After school my 1st grader is very cranky. Not enough to nap, just enough to ruin the night. Any tips on ways to de-stess after school? Going for a walk, the playground, any games all end up in a huge meltdown. So far I have been turning to the TV for comfort. :) but it doesn't really unwind him, just occupies him.
I was thinking about maybe a meditation cd for the drive home?
any other tips?
