That Olympic ceremony sucked! My whole family and many of our friends felt so disappointed. It wasn't grandiose and colorful and full of ooohs and aaaahs like all the previous ones. It was messy, confusing(even meredith vieira made that comment!)irrelevant, and just BLAH! The only thing we liked was of course the parade of athletes, and the 007 and Queen bit, as well as the singing of their national anthem by the kids choir which almost made me cry!(ok so I'm a sap and have a soft spot for special needs kids). What did everyone else think? 

The 007 style entry of the Queen was funny. My favorite part were all the kids singing. The one little boy who started off with a solo did make me cry, and so did the choir that signed. The rest was meh. The beginning part with the bug flying or whatever kind of gave me a headache. They did say when it started that nothing could possibly top what happened in Beijing and I think they were right. 

It was pathetic. When China did theirs, OMG if you never saw it UTUBE IT!! Hands down, AMAZING. Leave it to the Western World to Hire a movie director, to direct one of the most imortant world events of this year. What a flop. 

I didn't loose anything and didn't put much into it so icang really say I feel robbed. The music was good and overall it could have been worse. I enjoyed watching it. 

I think they were trying to play it down because of the economic recess thing that England has been complaining about for the last few years.

Anyways, now that the Olympics have been brought up has anyone else giggled and almost passed them on the TV guide yet only to realize that they ARE the XXX Olympics and that you have not accidentally strayed into the naughty channel section? 

I liked it, I thought it was amazing. 

I didn't even watch it. LOL The only part of the Olympics I ever watch, is the gymnastics. 

China's did do it very nicely. I do not feel 'robbed' in any way, shape or form though. We did not pay for such, it was a free show. 

I like it, I watched it while working out at the gym. It was different than most. But then again I like the Brits and there funky ways.
