Okay so we are stationed in Korea and I was there in Lewis waiting (and waiting)... for housing and all.. Well, we were given an estimate of at least 6 months waiting list. I was not working and my school is online so we had everything packed up and went on a vacation to my parents home. I ended up staying longer since I have nothing to go back to in Lewis. We waited so long for on post housing in Korea that we decided to cancel following him because he is now 75% done (for the year he is required if we don't follow). So now my hubby got orders to Bliss. Can I get the Army to pay for my ticket from where I am at to Bliss or do I have to go back to Lewis (or go to Korea) then move from there? I really thought we would be back in Lewis since he accepted his HAAP.

We are both not in Lewis and JPPSO never answers the phone 

Hell have to talk to JPPSO, since it was an unaccompied tour. Also army doesnt fly anyone anymore. The movers come and you drive to your duty station, or you do a full dity.


Which since by your choice you left your duty station before he left for Korea that may be a problem unless the army moved you to your parents which doesnt like like the case.

My husband works for jppso and he said he would have to know what the orders say to answer your question. He said is your stuff still in lewis? Also is your husband going straight to Bliss? He said if it's cheaper to go to bliss from where your at they will probably just do that and you guys probably don't have to come back to lewis to get your stuff shipped either. Tomorrow he said he can get you a direct line to someone who can figure everything out for you. 

Wow Jolene you are nice! (thanks to ella too) Yes, our stuff is in storage in Lewis as well as our vehicle. I had JPPSO pack it up ready to go to Korea before we left for vaca, but, again, we never got to go to Korea. He got his orders from his AKO so only his name is in there. He said our names won't be in a more official order until the month he is done.

Wait...seriously? So I assume they only fly those coming from overseas. Anyway, that sucks because we are not the type who wants to make money from moves. We just want it fast and easy. Oh man... 

Ya if your coming overseas they fly. I wanted to fly to Drum but they just changed it not too long ago. Im not sure why they are not disclosing it because when I went to clear housing, do the JPPSO brief travel pay people were still just finding out about it.
