I am looking for some personal paranormal experiences here on Fort Lewis or MChord. 

my husband, myself, and our best friend, chased some spirits out of a unit in Clarkdale. That was entertaining. 

Please tell your stories! I would love to hear it. 

@CSGray---i would love to know what unit that was....we had a crazy experience in our unit in clarkdale three years ago...

i woke up in the middle of the night to what i thought was a guy standing at the foot of our bed. i was so terrified i couldn't speak--i could only scream. this woke up my husband--who was the world's biggest skeptic--and he saw the man too. he started yelling and ran towards him going to punch him....whenever he did, his arm went through him and the guy literally evaporated in front of us.

horrifying. 

Our doorbell rings at all times of the day and night. Even when there are no batteries in it and no one is around. We have even had housning come and rewire it. It has been like that since we moved in. My husband hates it. It doesnt bother me. 

I'm not crazy superstitious or anything, but my house in Davis Hill utterly creeped me out. Just felt...heavy. When I arrived, it had supposedly been cleaned, but I found blood drips running the length of the tile to the floor under the sink. I am 100% sure that it was blood. The other half of the duplex burnt down, I had 2 carports & a park instead. Still don't know what was up with the blood, though & housing acted as if it didn't exist.

In New Hillside last summer, my windows were open & I kept hearing a screaming baby. Just eerily wailing. None of my neighbors had infants. I went outside to look, concerned because it was a distressing cry, asked my neighbor across the street & she turned ashen. She tells me that the house caddycorner to us was yet another half-burned down duplex, & story is that a baby perished in the fire. The baby is heard crying by many...that neighbor had lived here for 7 years & said she & many others had heard the "phantom cry" and that house had more turnover than any other on the street. The cry also came across my neighbor's baby monitor one night. Her kid was with her sleeping. Distinct eerie cry. She had never had interference from other baby monitors, so she suspected the ghost crier too lol. 

I think Clarkdale is an older area of post. 

My house in Dupont was haunted. My hair was pulled one time, doors would always open and close, and my lights would always go crazy. I always had a bad feeling pulling up to the house. After we moved my daughter told me that a little girl and a bad man would always wake her up at night:/ I had my friend come stay with me while hubby was deployed and she told me one night while she was asleep down stairs her blanket got pulled off of her as she watched. 

Ok so here it goes lol

We moved in in Feb 2011, shortly after crazy things stated happening like the water would turn on by itself upstairs when nobody was up there, we would hear footsteps walking around upstairs again nobody was upstairs, cabnets open all the time (like go to bed at night and they are all closed wake up in the morning to them all open, droors and all). Our front door opens all the time locked or not by itself. Cool I can handle that no problem cause I am not seeing what is doing it. But then me and the hubby was in bed about 1100 pm one night and the door bell rang, he got dressed and went to the door, nobody was there, figured it was a kid or something and headed back up to bed he was met at the top of the stairs by a man dressed in BDUs ( while he was gone I was getting dressed to come down stairs and when I turned to head out of our room I was met by a man in BDUS standing in our door way, I was frozen in fear as the soldier turned to walk down our hall) I guess this is the point when my husband met him at the top of the stairs. After that I did a little research on our house, turns out way back when a soldier was KIA that lived here.

We live in greenwood 

We lived on Crary Ave in 5058. On the corner of 3rd and Crary, single family brick homes. We used to hear a baby cry all the time even before I had a baby here. My son used to play peek-a-boo with something on the stairwell.

Footsteps in the master bedroom going across to the other room which was 2 of my kids room at the time. our dog used to go bonkers in our bedroom at night growling, bearing his teeth, and moving his body in front of ours if we were walking, or jump on our bed and sit on us, when he never got on our bed other wise. I heard a man talk there, never saw anything at all.

In the basement, we would hear tools clanking all the time. One day I came home from an appt thinking our kids had skipped school and were working on skateboards, and a scooter. i tried to "catch" them in action, and nope! Wasn't them. I go back upstairs only for the noises to start back up.

Kids that have stayed with mine have heard their names called in the middle of the night by a man, never saw anything either. No one wanted to come visit with our kids after spending a night or two there. Quite a few people know about our story there that were also adults, or military members! I never felt threatened, just knew I was not alone! *creepy* Also one night i felt two fingers kind of stroke my face. THAT was probably it for me there! We moved out due to ongoing maintenance issues, sewage back ups. Now I actually kind of miss the excitement! lol My new house is boring!
i have always wondered if the new family there has experienced any of this. 

My sons friends will not stay the night here anymore either, oneday we had company and the doors stated slamming upstairs, I was asked why my teenager was so upset, I informed them that he was not home and their was nobody upstairs 

I remember you saying that when there were a lot of posts on a thread for ghost hunting! We had a blast ghost hunting! But there were too many chickens. Only a couple were being serious about it

I was so irritated that night. But met a few nice ladies off here. 

I don't exactly advertise being familiar with spirits, and sensing them, but I grew up with them all around. A part of life, and the history of the land we were on.

I don't remember which unit it was in Clark dale. it was over a year ago. We were staying the night with some friends over there. Our husbands had gone to the store while me and the wife stayed and just BS'd. The doorbell rang and one of our husbands unit mates was standing there, shaking, sweating, and obviously scared out of his wits. He said that he was home alone, and was sitting in the living room reading, with a few candles going, when all of a sudden the house got cold, and it felt like someone, or something, just let out a huge, angry, cold breath through out the house. All of the candles went out at once and every door in the unit slammed shut, and a ground window cracked. He knew we were all a few buildings away, so he ran as fast as he could over there.

My husband, our friend, and myself are all spirit sensitive. Sometimes we even communicate with them. We all three have the ability to project ourselves in different ways. The three of us, along with the scared man, all walked to the "haunted" unit in the dark and rain. When we got there, we evaluated the outside of the unit, and touched the walls, sensing everything we could. The unit was occupied by very old, and very angry, souls. The three of us confronted them,and drove them out of the unit as best we could. We performed a cleansing ritual, and the frightened friend claims he could almost hear the angry yelling and screaming of "something else".

My own home has a little spirit of its own. Or it could just be one that follows me.

A tall male figure with bright golden eyes. The first time I encountered him was about a year ago. I was going to sleep, and I was juuuuust about asleep, when "something" jolted me awake and I sat up. There was a female figure standing in the corner of the bedroom. She appeared to be on the phone or something. I couldn't understand what she was saying, but I got the impression that she was worried and trying to get information about someone, or something. After a moment she faded, and I laid back down to go to sleep. I was almost asleep again when I sensed something over me, so I rolled over.

There was a figure of a man with gold eyes standing over me, and he put a finger to his lips, and spoke quietly, but hurried. He was speaking like he was trying to convey urgent, last minute instructions. He looked over his shoulders a few times, and then said something that sounded like a goodbye, and then walked away. I lay in bed for a little while, and eventually started to drift back to sleep.

Just before I fell asleep, I heard what sounded like three or four young children playing, by a fireplace, and for some reason the image of a dreidel came to my head. I fell asleep to that

Since then I have caught glimpses of this golden eyed male in various places, but never threatening. 

I love hearing other's stories and personal experiences. CSGray that was interesting.

Yesterday, the Army charged the 19-year-old Fort Lewis soldier with the premeditated murder of his 18-year-old wife.

_______ body was found Tuesday in the couple's apartment in the Clarkdale Housing area of the base.

Army officials took her husband into custody that same day. No details were released about how ______was killed.

This is the third time in the past two years that a Washington-based soldier back from Iraq has been accused of killing his wife. 

I'm more then happy to talk paranormal and spirit stuff with people. Although if you don't have some small amount of belief in the "magic" element of it all, it is extremely hard to understand some aspects of what I can do. 

I would love to know what goes on in our house.I love the doorbell ringing. I told my husband I feel loved when I hear it. He thinks I am nuts. LOL!!!!!! 

Ive only had my doorbell ring twice and had no one there when I opened it. Pretty sure it was just teenagers though. 

I love all the stories! 

not here, but after my sister moved out of one of her houses the next tennant killed her husband. the property mgmt cleaned it up and rented it back out. dont know how people can live with themselves doing things like that.

it has nothing to do with this house, but i have flashes of things like memories from a long time ago (early 1900s maybe?). sometimes when im listening to old music i get a feeling that is hard to describe, like loss or that i am really missing something. told my husband about the 'memories'recently and he just said that it would explain some things. :oP 

We live in Clarkdale. We have been here for 3 years and have consistently had a rattling of our bedroom door. The first few times it happened, I thought it was my cat pawing at the door. When I investigated- the cats were sleeping and so was my son. No windows were open. This happened reguarly for the year my husband was gone. Scared me crapless first few times. Then I just got used to it. I never felt threatened, more like protected.

MASC, I have experienced things like "old memories" for a long time. I have given my own explanation to it, but it's kind of hard to explain. I have known many others with similar experiences. My husband being one of them.
I supposed that I should also point out that I am a Pagan, and spirits, both of those passed on and of nature, play a huge role in my faith. I try to avoid shoving my faith in peoples faces, but sometimes it helps people understand my point of view a little better.

Your views/faiths are always welcomed here, i had a pagen friend who moved a couple months ago. Doesnt change anything except that i can actually talk about something and not sound like im going crazy. Im always open minded and i believe in alot of things and i accept ppl for who they are. And that includes accepting ppls faith :) well shall make plans to one day get together :D
